A virtual program
on Accelevents

On Wednesday, March 9 we invite high school students in northern and remote areas of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Nunavut to meet us online to explore careers in medicine and the health sciences.

Our virtual half day program begins at 8:30 am CST | 9:30 am EST on the event platform Accelevents and comprises exhibits, a keynote lecture, an interactive workshop of choice and discussion with a panel of academics/professionals from various related fields. The event will also include two 15-minute breaks, which will offer participants an optional peer networking opportunity.

From a catalogue of options, participants will select their own workshop of interest during the student registration process. Please note that this is considered an individual learning exercise for grades 10 - 12 students with an interest in science. Workshop spaces are limited. Teachers are welcome to take part as well.

Participants will require their own email address, access to a computer, headphones, webcam (optional), internet connection and a quiet space. This may mean they attend virtually from home that morning or are in front of a computer in a dedicated space at school. Please click on the links below for further details.
