The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame (CMHF) celebrates Canadian heroes whose work advances health in Canada and the world. We foster future generations of health professionals through the delivery  of local and national youth education programs and awards. This enduring tribute to our country’s rich medical history is showcased on our virtual hall at www.cdnmedhall.ca and in an exhibit hall in London, ON.

Throughout all its activities, the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame strives to engage and promote the active participation of individuals of diverse backgrounds, including those from historically underrepresented groups. 

Position Description: The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame is looking for a new board member to join our board to serve as Treasurer and Chair of our Finance Committee.
Skills and Experience: Certified accountant with finance leadership experience
Time Commitment: Term length: 3 years; may serve up to two terms. This position serves on both our Executive Committee and is Chair of the Finance Committee:

• Finance Committee: Meets monthly from September - June (one hour virtual meeting) Executive Committee: Meets monthly from September - June (one hour virtual meeting
• Board Meetings: Four times per year
  • October (virtual)
  • January (virtual)
  • April (virtual)
  • June (in person following the Induction Ceremony in rotating cities across the country – with travel expense reimbursement)
