In partnership with medical schools, hospitals and research institutes across Canada, our national Discovery Days in Health Sciences program aims to educate, encourage and inspire high school students who are curious about careers in medicine and health sciences.

Discovery Days in Health Sciences ONLINE brings the program to those who cannot attend an in-person event. High school students and young adult learners in rural, remote and Indigenous communities across British Columbia, Alberta, the Yukon and Northwest Territories will be invited to join us in this virtual experience on November 21.

Our online program features exhibits, a captivating keynote lecture, interactive workshops, and a thought-provoking career panel discussion. View our agenda.

We invite participation from community practitioners, faculty, trainees, staff and students with an interest in outreach to youth. Share your passion for your chosen profession/field of study with curious minds - use the submission form found further below to join in this exciting opportunity! For reference, download a sample workshop catalogue and workshop presenter tips sheet.
